This activity aims to protect the rights of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs), while ensuring compliance with human rights protocols and guaranteeing a process that is gender-sensitive and responsive to the local context.<br>To this end, AIWO-CAN is organising the activity through several key steps: the launch meeting with institutions and stakeholders, the field mission for participatory diagnosis and mapping, the technical establishment of the mechanism, and the community- and landscape-level restitution and validation sessions. The team also ensures the compilation of results and internal debriefing to guarantee a participatory and effective implementation.<br>This activity makes the GRM operational, ensures the active participation of communities and landscape stakeholders, and lays the groundwork for inclusive governance and the lasting protection of Indigenous Peoples\u2019 rights within the broader GEF-8 project.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dans le cadre du projet GEF 8, AIWO-CAN met actuellement en \u0153uvre l\u2019activit\u00e9 de mise en place du m\u00e9canisme de traitement des plaintes (GRM \/ MGP) dans les r\u00e9gions Sud et Est du Cameroun.
